ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV

Chris Hobbs leads ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV as Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 20 years of social sector leadership — and a career-long belief in fiscal sponsorship as one of the sector’s most powerful tools for innovation, equity, efficiency, and collaboration. He has seen firsthand what the model makes possible: ideas that launch sooner, leaders who spend their energy on mission instead of administration, and communities that get solutions faster because the infrastructure and implementation partnership was already in place.

Chris spent 13 years at Arabella Advisors, where he built and led the firm’s fiscal sponsorship practice — helping establish fiscal sponsorship and the use of intermediaries as a standard for innovation, advocacy, and donor collaboration in philanthropy — before serving as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, he was COO of Kinaura Partners, a global consulting firm serving the social sector, where he led people, culture, strategy implementation, and operations for a team spanning 20 countries. Earlier in his career, he worked in global health and development with PSI and served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso.

As a leader, Chris has guided teams of every size — from two people to 220 — and brings the same approach to all of them: listen first, lead with empathy and clarity, and build systems that help people do the best work of their careers. Chris is excited to build on ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV’ 30 years of fiscal sponsorship expertise and the strong foundation created by its people — deepening a culture where people can thrive, strengthening an already powerful model, and expanding its reach and impact in service to great ideas and the changemakers behind them.

Chris holds a BS in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an executive certificate in strategy and innovation from MIT Sloan. A proud dad and longtime Angeleno with real affection for the Bay Area, he can often be found testing new recipes in the kitchen or exploring the city with his husband and daughter.
